Seriously, if I had resources like this guy (and connections) and I knew I might die in prison; I might try to fake my own death. Or if that was too complicated I might just kill myself - making it harder for the government to take my assets. Am I the only one wondering this?

No, you are not the only one wondering about this. It is rather suspicious that he died while he was away from home, where his primary physician was. I do not doubt that he is dead, but I doubt the circumstances of his death. i think it is more a suicide rather than a heart attack.

Scenario: goes to his doc (likely corupt too) says "i want something that will make it look like a heart attack, I want to take it while we are on vacation so it can not come back to you"

Yes I do think it is suspicous but it may have not been him faking his death. It may have been other power's that be that knew he knew too much!

You know he went to his doctors and would have known of any heart disease. It was never mentioned in the media that he had any sort of health problems. You know they would have uncovered it if he had health problems at any time throughout this whole thing.

I don't believe he faked his own death unless it was to appease other powers. He has the money to appeal and probably in not too long a time be released from prison. So he had no reason of his own to fake his death. Had to be tied up with others such as the Bush's.

You rightfully "sense" a "linkage" between Mr. Lay's criminal case and his demise. That linkage was the enormous stress of modern criminal prosecutions. Those caught up in this maelstrom quickly come to realize that the system we all tout as the best in the world IS TOTALLY UNFAIR. All laws are written by prosecutors and for prosecutors. (Legislators submit laws drafted by prosecutors because they want to be seen as "tough on crime.") All judges are former prosecutors. (These are rubber stamp political miscreants who (with a few notable exceptions) are desirous of being "tough on crime" so as to advance themselves. These are NOT legal giants but, rather, political monsters.) It's stressfull because once you face this you realize there is no contest--the defendant will lose, even if innocent, solely because the decision to prosecute was made. The stress KILLED Ken Lay. I am not making any argument as to whether he was guilty or not-guilty-in-fact. I am only explaining that it truly was the case that killed him. When society's "law and order" lynch mob types continue to scream and froth at the mouth, over not having its desired opportunity to inflict more human suffering on a human soul, after that soul died, you can see plainly enough what has gone wrong. Here's the real deal, however. By their own standards such law and order types will themselves be judged--WITHOUT MERCY. I for one will try to turn my head when God gives them His Justice--cruel, invincible, and white hot!

Ken Lay is gone. Pray for him and those he hurt. LET IT GO! Vengeance is not for man to possess or execute! All who believe otherwise have one and only one spiritual father--the Devil, the one called Satan--and they are each and all owned by Evil. They are wicked! Evil shall slay the wicked! Enjoy!

This guy had no shame or the capability to be embarrassed. Please he was a Con Man. This guy is on some protection program set up by our President in some remote island drinking cocktails. I don't believe he died. and if he did someone had him killed because he knows way too much. Eron was a huge supporter of the Bush and Clinton Campaigns.

i like the insurance theory, besides the undeniable fact that it may comprise ALL his components. i could desire to work out the physique to determine he's rather lifeless and did no longer pretend his dying and is enjoying life someplace interior the South Sea Islands. If there's a speedy cremation, this may be conceivable. I hate to be a cynic yet those human beings will do something for themselves; they have no consciences. Please see the action picture "the lads interior the lower back Room." i think of it somewhat is the call (or close to to it). that is with regard to the upward push and fall of ENRON. communicate approximately enjoying the human beings for saps!!! and that they are pleased with it.

I'm thinking with all the stress, embarrassments, and shame he has had to deal with, that and knowing he was headed to Prison would be more stress than most people could handle. Let the man die in peace.

You know that was very suspicious! I don't know, maybe he faked his death or maybe someone put a hit out on him...whatever the case, it's very suspicious!

Kinda reminds me when Dick Cheney "accidently" shot that guy(forgot his name) while hunting...and later, the guy that got shot by Cheney ended up apologizing for Cheney instead of Cheney apologizing...crazy!

You're not the only one wondering about it, but I don't think it's true. I think he just couldn't take the strain of the mess he'd gotten himself into one more minute.
