We as a species, will better harness energy coming from our planet, our star and perhaps even our galaxy (much much later). By harnessing energy in a better way, we will enable many many new techs. Nano techs could potentially give people armies of robots in their bodies to fight cancer, wormhole physics could potentially enable tele-transportation. Very hard to say but fun to think about lol :)
