You can probably do something about the hair. Try smooth and sleeking shampoos, leave in conditioners etc. One thing that really works for me because I have semi-curly hair that if done right can be wavy, but if not ends up looking like I stuck my finger in a light socket. I use a sleek and smoothing shampoo and conditioner, and finger comb my hair in the shower. When I get out, I put a few doses of Infusium 23 through it. If I want to leave it curly, I use a spray gel that is made for curly hair, and blow dry on low with my head hung upside down while scrunching. If I want to leave it straight, I use a volumizing mouse (not too much!) and brush that through, then blow dry on high. After my hair is dry, I use a big curling iron on the highest setting, to smooth and add body. Be careful with the curling iron that you don't get too carried away with the 'curling' part. I use mine mainly for straightening and just curling the ends a bit and I get compliments on my hair all the time. Which is a nice change from my high school pictures and insults.
As for the acne, honey join club! I have suffered with TERRIBLE acne since I was 10-years-old. There has never been anything I can do about it. I have tried EVERYTHING from proactiv, to marykay, to prescriptions. I found that drinking lots of water and using the products that I prefer over the ones that have all the hype really work best for me, and it makes me happy to use them.
With the glasses, I worked as an optician for a while after school, and if you find a pair of glasses that have personality and style, you won't be a 'nerd' you will be a cool confident girl with neat glasses. You would be surprised how many cool people wear glasses, it just about the WAY you wear them.
I hope this helped! I completely know what you are going through, the biggest thing you have to remember is that if you love yourself then it doesn't matter what other people think or say. Confidence in yourself goes a long way to others thinking you are attractive!
Good luck girl!

so what about the glasses. I have glasses I think I look good. Get ones that will fit your face. Get chic ones. Looking good does not have to expensive. and Don't have the self esteem of a 12 year old get up and be happening. Think of it this way you are an endangered species there is only one of you. Hair is not a problem get a japanese perm or just tie it up in a fun pony tail. You can even curl it. Just don't not comb it look like a lion listen I have been down that road and its not fun and I have straight hair. Acne no problem no more eating lol just kidding.
No Mcdonalds and stuff that will make you oily. No hair in the face because the conditioner makes your hair oily but you can't not use conditioner if you have frizzy hair or else you can't get your comb through the hair. So proactive. Its great! All my friends use it and it really helps!

There is nothing wrong with glasses. get cute, modern frames that make you look spunky. If your hair is frizzy, leave a little conditioner on it when you get out of the shower, and make sure you only rinse it with cool water and use styling products that specifically say alcohol free. Experiment with up-do's until the hair texture heals up a bit, but leaving in some conditioner should really help. As for acne, if you are under the age of 22 or so, that is just natural (I know you hate to hear that!) so drink lots of water and use those blue oil absorbing sheets from clean & clear to soak up excess moisture from your face when you sweat. I don't advise makeup to cover the pimples, just try to eat healthy and your skin will improve. Good luck!

~GLASSES~
You have three choices:
1. Find a pair a glasses that are stylish, sexy, and are the correct shape for your head.
2. Get contacts. (Don't worry, you get used to touching your eyeballs after a while.)
3. Don't wear either glasses or contacts. (Obviously this is not reasonable because your eyesight will only worsen, but I do like to try and provide as many options as possible.)
~FRIZZY HAIR~
Visit your local high-end beauty salon
and speak with the professionals.
They will direct you toward
the best products for your hair type
and will also give you extra tips
for how to keep that mane nice and neat.
The products will be more expensive
than what you would buy at Walmart,
but they will work better and be healthier for your hair.
~ACNE~
Here are seven suggestions:
1. Visit your doctor. He will most likely prescribe something to clear up your exsisting acne and give you tips on how to avoid new pimples.
2. Try Arbonne Clear Advantage. It's the only product line that cleared up my acne and keeps it at bay today. Plus it is pH balanced and won't dry out your skin like most other acne products do. (You can find a consultant in your area by calling 1-800-arbonne.)
3. Get into a routine of washing your face twice a day:
once in the morning, once at night.
After cleansing, follow up with a toner
(to prep your skin for moisturizer)
and then a moisturizer.
Use face cream if it's winter or if you have dry skin.
Use a lotion if it's summer or if you have oily skin.
(Because even oily skin needs to be moisturized!)
4. Do not touch your face!
(This is where I kept getting into trouble.)
Just think about where your hands have been.
If you grab a shopping cart, for example,
think of all the other people who have put their hands
on that very same cart and perhaps
all the disgusting places their hands were
BEFORE they touched that cart.
Ewwww!
5. Buy makeup that is hypoallergenic and won't clog your pores.
I personally have found that mineral make up is best.
It's hypoallergenic,
won't clog pores,
has a natural spf of about 20,
creates a flawless coverage that will not crease or sweat off,
and feels like you're not wearing anything at all!
6. Whatever you do,
DON'T try Proactive Solutions.
It strips your face of it's natural oils.
Not only will your skin feel
dry and parched like the dessert,
but your sebaccous glands will react
in defense to the decreasing amount of oil
by pumping out even more so you get
more pimples than when you began. :(
7. Drink plenty of water,
get plenty of sleep,
and eat a balanced diet.
You will look and feel healthy in no time!
(You face will also be clearer and more radiant.)
Good luck! :)

Use Pantene Restoratives shampoo and conditioner for the frizzies. It's done wonders for my hair. As for the acne, others would probably have better answers. Take a trusted friend with you on the glasses to help you find a style that flatters your eyes.

if your acne is really bad, try talking to a doctor..they can either put you on birth control (it regulates the hormones that cause acne) or prescribe medication specifically for acne, like differin. if it is just mild acne, try washing your face with a salicylic acid cleanser and then use a moisturizer like clean and clear oil free dual action moisturizer. then at night, rub on a spot acne treatment which you can usually find at any drug store. or use proactiv, but thats usually pretty expensive, though it works really well.
for the hair, try using a taming shampoo, just go to any drugstore and look for shampoos and conditioners meant for your type of hair. then don't just let it dry naturally, instead either blowdry and straighten it (or if you are on a tight schedule) try putting in a creme or a mousse specifically made for frizzy hair...it will tame the frizz nad leave you with beautiful wavy locks.
as for the glasses, if you have to wear them, go for a thin frame...look through fashion magazines for some ideas or even go to your local eyewear store (such as lens crafters) they actually have trained professionals that can help you select a frame that is right for your face...
not to mention, if you clear up the acne and tame the poof, then perhaps wear a little make-up (especially eye make up to make your peepers stand out behind the lenses) it wont really matter that you wear glasses.

People are wearing glasses nowadays just for a fashion accent so don't worry about that. You can use mayonnaise (as a conditioner) on your hair to tame the frizz. Acne can be cause by diet rich in sugar and fats as well as skin oil and lack of cleaning. Work on diet and buy something over the counter for the acne. And keep your face clean. Sometimes it just takes time because of the hormonal changes we women go through.

Well you sound like my daughter. When she was starting high school she was a basket case. Anyway, she got contacts but you know, glasses are very attractive and you can make your eyes up to stand out. Now my daughter's hair was naturally curly and frizzy. IT was long about mid back length. She bought one of those flat irons and straightens it after she washes and dries it. After about six months of that it is so straight that it doesn't even curl anymore. She bought the hair straightening iron at the salon. It was around 60 dollars. She also uses Pro Active and it cleared up her skin in about two weeks. She is still using it and she is in her Junior year at college now. I am sure if you discuss this with your mother she will help you to do your makeover. I thought it was really fun. My daughter looks so different now and really pretty. The pro activ sells for about 30 dollars and you get it in the mail every three months. If you join the club it is cheaper and it really worked on my daughter. I would be interested in what you decide. If you like please E mail me and let me know. Good luck honey.

Wear glasses that suit your face. Use shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair. Get some hair serums for the frizz and use it before blow drying. Try proactive for the acne and use concealer, pressed powder and blush. Hide blemishes. Almay's blemish concealer is great! It heals acne! Put it on the acne before going to bed and wash it in the morning. Ignore the directions. (at least it works for me) Good Luck
