answer early result detects 25 units of hormone just like a blood test does

in 94% of women it WILL NOT DETECT PREGNANCY BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR MISSED PERIOD (just like a blood test)

I took the clear blue easy test 2 days before my missed period, and it came back negative twice. I have an 19 month old daughter, so obviously the magic answer is NO! you can't assume you are not pregnant! When I tested on the day my period was due (using the first morning catch) I got a positive. Sometimes it just takes longer for your body to produce enough HCG to test positive, especially when you are using a late day catch, because the time when you have the largest amount of hcg is after a whole night of your bladder filling up, this gives you a better concentration and makes things obvious to the test! Wait four or five days and test again, buy on of the line ones, not the digital one. Then if you test negative, you can reasonably assume that you are not pregnant! :)

I would take another pregnancy test on your first late day or just after. Sometimes there isn't enough hgc in your system to give you an accurate result that early, the early testing times don't work for every woman. While the levels are highest in the first time you pee, but it is not necessary with all tests. I would suggest it for your best chance at accurate results though. You could also have gotten one of the few dud tests that occasionally get missed in production. Get another test, the same brand or another that is up to you, but I still would suggest taking another test on or right after your first day you should be getting your period.

You may have taken the test too early. Your body produces a hormone called HCG once you are pregnant, and many times it is not detectable (despite what the "new" home pregnancy tests claim) until you have missed your period. You cannot assume you are not pregnant at this point. Retest yourself when you are officially a day late.

well, if you feel like you couldb be pregnant because you had unprotected sex during your ovulation time, you could be pregnant, When you test as early as you did the test might show negative if you have not produced enough hcg to be detected on a test, also if you did not test with morning urine, it is more likely to be negative because if you do not have enough hormone production yet whatever acumulated through the night was wasted in the morning you might want to test in the morning. Test again on your period date, if it is still negative I would then rely on the test.
