Try putting it next to a different mouse. Maybe it's in heat? If it starts mounting the other mouse, you might want to separate them for now.

At least it squeaks and you know that its still alive. You might want to clean it up a bit. First, ask the mouse to lie on its back. Then unzip its drawers and take out his ball. Then clean it with something sterile like alcohol or windex. Even mouse has a belly button, so make sure you take out all that nasty gunk inside it. Then just put his pants back on and he should be fine.

via a great mild and a smooth hand, you are able to dab a tiny volume of silicone lubricant consisting of WD40 or Mr Sheen by technique of a cocktail stick or similar onto the point the position the wheel activates its axle, no longer on the floor the ball rubs hostile to. or possibly purchase yet another if this is attending to you. attempt an optical mouse to maintain away from the clogging-up.

Maybe because it is a ball mouse. Ball mice are disgusting and you should replace it with an optical or laser mouse, preferable a wired one (I don't trust wireless things too much).
