Sylvester Stallone, didn't he swear years ago to make no more violent movies?

I swear I read somewhere that at the time he had a sick or injured child, and he promised to not make any more violent movies, I guess hoping to improve his 'karma.' Anybody else recall something like this?

i only came across this, but money is what motivates ppl. you can read the full article from 1997.

"I made a statement: I don't want to do action films anymore," Stallone says. What he meant to say was, "I didn't want to do ultra-violent, metronomic, mathematical films. . . . I wanted to do something that moves you."
