Yes i agree.

Terrorist are anyone or group that uses violence and/or threats of violence to further their agenda.

Of all in the world the US is the overwhelming leader in this catagory(even against its own people). What really makes them the worst is their insane denial that they are doing exactly what they are supposedly fighting against. For them its ok to do bad things if its allegedly for a so-called "good" reason(feeding their greed and egos).

There will always be some who would agree with you. I won't be one of them.

#1 Terrorists do not want a government. Governments imply a form of order. While it might not end up looking like the US government the US does want a viable government set up in Iraq.

#2 Terrorist are intersted only chaos and havoc. If the US wanted that we would have left after Baghdad was captured.

#3 Terrorists attack civilians and avoid military targets where possible. The prime goal is civilian casualties. If that were the US goals they would have been dropping MOABs all over Iraq. They would have carpet bombed Fallujah.

#4 Terrorists do not believe in the will of the majority of people in a country. The US does.

IF you really believe the worst terrorists come from the US you should hop a plane and go to Iraq, Afghanistan, Somolia, or Sudan and find out what terrorists really consists of. Get off your biblical beast of burden and go see things close up and personal.

Note to Jamesi

Leave the US for a while and then come back when you developed some scholarship of your own and tell me how inaccurate that authors views were.

Noam Chomsky, whose scholarship is excellent, has a book called "failed states" in which lays out a definition of what a failed state is, and then argues that America is the largest failed state of all. There are few functioning democratic institutions within the country and no heed to international consensus on international issues outside the country. The US cosistently fails to provide safety or conditions under which reasonable standards of living can be attained by its own citizens, and its military is controlled by corporate interests, not by the people. The country's military operations are not subject to any standards or rules of control. No country in this world tortures more people than the USA, and fair legal proceedings are all but impossible for everyone but the ones with the deepest pockets.
His argument demonstrates that since the first decade of the 19th century when they exterminated the remaining native populations of Florida, the USA has persistently interfered with any country or people in the world who exhibit independent nationalism. The one thing that USA has not been able to tolerate for 200 years is any democratic sovereignty for its own people or for anybody else. Look at Haiti, Nicragua, Kosovo, Iran, Vietnam, Korea, Argentina, Panama, Chile, Columbia, Russia, Honduras, and El Salvador, just to name a few examples from recent decades. It's a hard book to read because the message it delivers is so unpleasant, but it's got a lot of truth to it that most people would prefer not to hear

terrorist n. One that engages in acts or an act of terrorism.

terrorism n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

The corporate power in the USA has a vested interest in controlling the rest of the planet. Not all of their methods are violent some are subliminal some are coercive but the objective is the same. Liberate [your] money [from you] for them.

I'm not sure about the worst in the world, but there's a lot we can improve upon when it comes to our hypocritical actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, and North Korea. Also, the question in no way implies that the asker agrees with the statement, why don't you all stop attacking and answer the question.

I think that US have done so many bad things against different countries, that they deserve that title. They say that they are doing wars or things like that in the name of peace or to protect the people, but how can you say that if you are doing the same bad thing against others. The most recent example is Iraq, they attack this country in the name of freedom and security. But they (people from Iraq) don´t think the same of the American army.
Terrorist is the one who cause terror or fear, then in Iraq and in another countries US is the principal terrorist in the world.
I´m sorry for my english...

No, I do not agree. And here why. Terrorist seek only to kill and destroy, by any means necessary. How many Americans have you seen walking into cafes in Baghdad with suicide belts on, and blowing up themselves and innocent Iraqis? How many Iraqi airliners have been crashed into the sides of tall buildings in Iraq, killing all on board and many more inside?

No. I don't agree. Try telling that to the European people who were liberated from Hitler's army.
The only terrorist in the US is George Bush himself.

Sorry I do not. We do not strap bombs to men, women ,and children and pull the plug. We do not with hatred and malice fly planes into others buildings hoping to kill as many of the citizens as possible. We do not plot how to destroy others with the most violent acts we can. We are not interested in obliterating a people just because they have different ideals than our own, because we are so diverse.
