I have a performance module to fit onto my Hyundai Getz, which attaches to the air intake temperature sensor. I can't find it in the engine though. There isn't a Haynes manual for this car, so I can't find any pictures to show me where it is. Can anyone help please?

Don't fit the mod if it's one of the eBay "get 20 hp for £1"

All it is is a resistor that 'tricks' the engine management system into thinking the air in colder (more dense) so the engine adds more fuel to the mix.

This just causes a feedback loop from other sensors as they try to cancel out the 'rich' mixture and unburnt fuel in the exhaust gasses (can even damage your cat. convertor), and WILL increase your fuel bill.

the claims of 20 or 30 extra HP are rubbish, you'd need a turbo and a complete engine re-map for that, not a 2p resistor...or even a resistor in a box!!

it really is positioned on the filter out field and it really is both at the front loooking at it from the position the battery is positioned or on the lower back the position a twine to the sensor should be considered. i own a 2000 sentra GXE that i'm doing artwork on
