Is it normal to not be able to hear my baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks?
My doctor couldn't find the heartbeat today! And he said come back in 2 weeks!
He said sometimes when the uterus is positioned too far back it's hard to hear and if the doppler isn't positioned in just the right spot sometimes we can't hear it!
Normal?

Yes, it's normal so try not to worry too much about it. Your doctor is your best source of information and knows what he's talking about. If the heart wasn't beating at all, you would have had a miscarriage by now. Relax, lots of women have a tilted uterus so welcome to the club! :-)

Yes, it happened to me. My doctor couldn't find my baby's heartbeat until I was 15 weeks. Thank God she did cuz it started to freak me out.

Yeah, it is pretty normal. Sometimes the baby will turn and you just can't get it. Don't worry, this happened to me a couple of times. Congrats on the baby!

Everything should be ok. Cause my doctor had trouble hearing my babies one time and when I went back you could hear it perfectly. so, don't worry if he was he would have sent you to get an ultrasound. It is still early in your pregnancy!!

I think it is normal. If he was worried he would have sent you for an ultrasound. 12 weeks is still pretty small.

Worry is your enemy, and the babies. Relax.
