He doesn't have the best record (has been suspended a few times in the Italian league). Neither does Zidane (headbutted a German player in a Champions League game, walked over a Saudi player in 1998, when France was hosting the World Cup). But Zidane is a world class champion - Materazzi isn't. So, Zidane's gesture and lack of sportsmanship is more appalling.
Materazzi played the World Cup because Alessandro Nesta was injured during one of the first games. He was actually a substitute. Overall, he did a fairly good job, but he can't be compared to Nesta!

i said it before, Materazzi won't be remembered as a player who won the fifa world cup, but the one who had to make zidane angry to stop it because the fear he felt about his skills. Materazzi will never do anything zidane did, even if he born again

That's right no one is as stupid as Zidane do ever do that again at the Finals of a World Cup!!!! Only Zidane could have done that!!!!! ahahahahahahaha
Materazzi is the one that allowed us to see what a loony Zidane is and that he should have stayed retired and maybe get some anger management help!!!!

Materrazi has a bad Record, he was suspended for fighting a player from the opposite team
after a game he didnt even play in, i think he like hit him with his car and then tried to fight him.
