I have to say Sienfeld...before the Master of your Domain I do not ever remember hearing a person quote from a tv show before...yada yada yada, not that theres anything wrong with that, Get Out!....these saying (and many others) have become so much apart of our culture that sometimes we forget that they are Sienfeld-isms!

The Simpsons. Everyone, all over the world knows who The Simpsons are, they've been around forever. They've made fun of everything and everyone. They have the most celebrity guest appearances. If it wasn't for The Simpsons there probably wouldn't be any Family Guy, American Dad or any other goofy (and a little vulgar, in a good way) comedy show.

Well it depends on what country to come from I think...
Canada: SCTV- a comedy sketch show that included Rick Moranis, John Candy and Eugene Levy. Came out with iconic characters that are still quoted and loved today.
UK- you are looking at Monty Python, Coronation Street, and Eastenders. I mean, these shows define the UK in extreme ways and I think can be seen in their culture today (for good and bad).
USA- Well.. there are alot of them I think. I would have to go with I love Lucy or Dallas. These shows, in their own ways definitely helped to define the US's love of pop culture and its influence on everyday life.

did not the Monkees ensue an similar way? The Glee solid has the skill to change right into a actual crew, yet in the present day isn't. i'd argue that when the Glee solid will change into popular as a unit self sufficient of the television tutor and starts recording unique textile (viz. the Monkees' dissatisfaction with their television tutor), it truly is even as it is going to change right into a 'actual' crew. I gave the first episode a shot. i love Jane Lynch, who's continually humorous (and keeps to be, contained in the clips i have considered of the tutor considering that first episode). yet i did not persist with by potential of with it, because i became watching for a wise, darkish extreme college satire a l. a. 'Election' and were given, properly, some thing yet that. The lackluster comedy, better than the lackluster making a music, drove me away, and that i did not watch a 2d episode (in spite of the indisputable fact that i understand somewhat better about it by potential of osmosis -- I coach college, so it is particularly unavoidable.) My problem with the making a music isn't the slickness and Autotune in step with se; it is the inability of actual connection those youthful toddlers look to ought to the textile. you pick to have that connection to do an effective conceal -- imagine of Zevon, even as he became about to die, recording Dylan's 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' for his very last album. The Glee youthful toddlers can't carry a candle to that, and that i can't be tuning in. accurate Chef is plenty better significant. ;)
