How can Janice Dickinson said that she was the first super model?

You are correct. Janice was one of my favorites back in the day, but their where others before. Her salary was higher because she was everywhere and on every magazine and that's what they consider to be a supermodel, (the pay).

Janice was one of the first but I think Gia Carangi was the actual first in the late 70's. Twiggy, Cheryl Tiegs & Lauren Hutton did come before Janice I believe but they weren't supermodels. Supermodels are models who do both runway and print work. Lauren eventually did both and became a supermodel but I believe after Gia.

Because she has the ego bigger than George Bush. Now how could you NOT think you were the first supermodel with an ego that big. She really needs to stop thinking she's sexy because she USED TO BE a model. She's saggy and has celulite. She needs a reality check!!!!
