Mascara doesnt actually make your lashes longer, it just thickens and covers the light hairs that you cant see otherwise. I use. Maybelline Full and Soft waterproof. Its AMAZING! I am a masacra fanatic and I'll tell you, the most important thing about mascara isnt the actual product, its the brush. Look for a brush with thick, small hairs, not the cheapy ones with a little spiral around the stick. If you look at the picture on the outside of the package, it will have a picture of the brush that it uses. Also- if your mascara is about half gone and isnt working as well as it used to, wash the brush with some soap and water and it will be like it was when it was brand new.

I don't think any mascara can make the eyelashes longer. You want to find a brush that is small enough where you can pick up the small lashes in the corners (inner and outer) of your eyes. Maybelline used to have a line that had tiny brush that was easy to get close to the lids with.

There are products to promote the growth (eyelashes are, after all, hair) but I am not sure what they are called. Some kind of formula that you apply and wear overnight. It's clear, not make up. Our eyelashes get treated so badly, washed with soap, never conditioned, and painted over! No wonder they don't grow very much, but when I was about 10, I cut mine and they grew back so they DO grow.

Nothing is going to make your eyelashes grow longer. You can experiment with different mascaras and see which on gives *the appearance* of longer lashes. . .

if you have short eyelashes, you have short eyelashes use fake ones to extend them or use mascara to volumize (A little eyeliner beneath the top lashes will also make them look longer).I like covergirl (i don't know the name of the mascara but it comes in a fuscia/purple color tube) and i love Mary Kay Ultimate mascara (the newest one) it does wonders; gorgeous lashes that stay beautiful all day.

I love MAYBELLINE NY Full N' Soft Waterproof. It makes your eyelashes LOOK so much longer and fuller. Mascara can't actually MAKE your eyelashes longer, they just make them LOOK longer.
