That questions is ludacris if not border line racist!!! I am Christian not muslim so do not think I am religously motivated in my statements. Here are a few facts.
1) Yes 9/11 was carried out by islamic members of al-qwaeda, and the India and Londen subway attacks were also.
2) Yes it seems that the media gives most of the attention to Islamic Terrorist groups after 9/11 (i.e. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Al-Qaeda)
Yet certently not all muslims are terrorists. Other people who have answered this question are correct that the KKK and TImothy McVay were non Muslim terrorists. Too understnad what a terrorist is one must know the legal definition: A person or group of persons who commits crimes of hate and violence against humanity. This means almost all freedom fighters like FARC and diferent rebel groups around the world are terrorists.
Yet your questions does still have some merit. Currently the Middle East and Africa are very destabilized religously oriented areas. They have been under colonial oppression for hundreds of years, and now that they are free many of the people are haveing troubleing adapting. The lack of a strong freedoms based governemnt and strict religous interprretation of the Koran and other holy books is what breads terrorism. I believe that if the Middle East and Africa had a more educated populace and democratical stable governments then the amount of Islamic terrorism would go down.
But just remember that NOT ALL TERRORISTS ARE MUSLIMS.
God Bless America

You are not correct. Terrorists are not united behind any one cause or religion. Timothy McVeigh was not a muslim, neither was Michael Collins, nor the Basque separatists, nor the Chechen rebels. Even a small amount of Googling reveals many well-known terrorists who have nothing to do with Islam. Terrorism has existed for centuries all over the world. It is a natural strategy for small factions fighting against a greatly larger force.

well as long as there are people who discriminate or disrespect or hurt or kill people.there will always be terrorism.the problem with this world is they never stopped to think why the hell would an educated man be crazy enough to fly a plane through a building or why would a mother of 2 be willing to blow herself up?no they are not crazy n no they r not stupid.they r frustrated.be whether they are frustrated by da way they have been treated by this world or they life they have.every human being needs to ve not only food, clothes & shelter but also a sense of dignity and self respect.the sad thing is no1 is giving them that.
all the muslims are asking for is that.they are asking the west to move out of saudi arabia because the land is sacred and they are asking that the people of palestine live a life that is dignified.a life where they dont ve to live in refugee camps in their own land.a life where they dont ve to be strip searched everyday b4 going to work.a life where they can eat a dinner without worrying about a tank shell or a missile smashing their house apart or being arrested without charge.
no dude u r absolutely wrong.muslims r not da source of terrorism.its da western greed and morales dat cause terrorism and no i am not a muslim nor am i an anti sematic.i just believe that there is another side to da story which more often than not is never addressed.sure their methods are horrifying but so is the way we treat them.

Muslim's are a religeous grouping just like Christian's and Jewish. Within that group are many subgroups who have thier own focus to their religeon. All of the religeous groups I know of seek to improve the people and world around them and thus are not terrorists.
Terrorist seek to force others to see things their way often through exreme means. While the extreme fringes of any religeous or political groups may produce terrorists, there is no causative relationship between religeon and terrorism.

wrong!! The human race is flawed. No matter what there will always be people who kill, just to do it. The terrorists are not true Muslims, they made their own writings and "prophecies" that will allow them to kill. Just because someone is Muslim does not mean they support terrorism or are terrorists. There will always be evil as long as people are selfish.

There will always be violence in the world so long as there are disenfranchised/oppressed people. Just because it is caked in "Islam" doesn't make terrorism an Islamic issue.
During the height of colonialism in Africa (circa 1940's thru 1960's), many of the rebelling people were deemed to be terrorists by the oppressive European regimes......today, we call these same people "freedom fighters", "heroes", "founding fathers" etc......

No, you are not correct.
Timothy Mcveigh blew up the federal building in oklahoma city.
Ted Kaczynski sent bombs to people in the mail.
Eric Rudolph bombed an abortion center.
Actually, there have been a lot of abortion center bombings by white christians. Here's a website about violence and terrorism directed at abortion centers:
http://www.religioustolerance.org/abo_viol.htm
Don't stereotype. Muslims hardly have a monopoly on terrorism.
