Even people who literally believe the Biblical creation timeline do not believe humans were the first living things on earth. If you read the book of Genesis, you'll see it says the birds of the air and the beasts of the field were created before man and woman.
And scientists say humans did not come along until well after the dinosaurs were extinct. (Despite what Hollywood may like you to believe about cavemen.)
Could dinosaurs have been created and then gone extinct before humans ever existed? Don't tell me science and the Bible agree on something!

YOu have a very good question, and I have the correct answer for you, I think you mean Adam and Eve, being like created on the 7th day or whatever, well, this doesn't make sense, if dinosaurs existed, millions of years before. And thats why science is starting to prove the bible wrong, and basically evolution of homo sapiens is like a proven fact, not really a theory anymore. The evidence outweighs whatever the bible has to say. If you want a more updated religion, try looking into Islam, the Quran sounds, more proffesional if you may, in fact it does talk about the big bang in the Quran also

It is good that you are seeking out your own answers to this question and not just accepting what some religious fantic is telling you. It is true that some fundamentalists believe that man was created by God to live in the garden less than 900 years ago. They believe the bible is factual evidence that dinosaurs were a hoax created by scientists to destroy belief in God. This might have had a bit of weight in the 19th century before we had carbon dating, but it is hard to dispute the evidence that 900 years is not long enough for our Earth to have developed as it has. There is so much archelogical evidence that supports evolution, it is hard to understand why some people still believe in creationism when the only evidence they have is a book that was written by men hundreds of years after the death of Jesus and has been translated so many times that even if it was the word of God it has been bastardized by the words of man beyond recognition. You keep searching for your own answers and look into your own heart for what feels right to you. This is the true path to enlightenment, self awareness, not accepting dogma from someone who claims to have a direct line to God.

If you read the Bible, you will see that something like dinosaurs or dragons first inhabited the earth. Look up the word "behemoth" in the King James Version of the Bible. There are search engines on the Internet, or you can just use a concordance. There is a whole chapter with the description.

Its kinda hard to argue that people were the fist living things on earth when we have fossils of bacteria from 500 million years ago, and the first humanoid (not even humans like today, but monkey-human kind of mixes) fossil is only about 10 million years old, maybe 12 million.
Dinosaurs lived from roughly 120 to 65 million years ago. I dont feel like looking any of these numbers up but they should be pretty accurate

humans were never the first beings to live on the earth. the first living things on earth were bacteria. These primitive beings evolved into larger beings like plants, small animals, and eventually dinosaurs. During the same time dinosaura were living, another family of animals were the chimps - and the chimps later evolved into the first man, then the "cavemen", and the the modern man.
So that's the story of life.

There were many lifeforms before humans. There were many lifeforms before the dinosaurs. Who tries to tell you that humans were the first living things on earth. Even the Bible admits that God created animals before He created humans.

Welcome to , the web site of the Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, Texas.
As you browse our pages you will receive educational information presenting scientific evidence for creation and design by a personal Creator. This scientifically chartered museum was established in July of 1984 for the purpose of research, excavation, and display of scientific evidence for creation. The Museum's team, led by its Founder and Director, Carl Baugh, Ph.D., has excavated eleven dinosaurs (Acrocanthosaurus, Stegosaurus, Allosaurus, etc.), 475 dinosaur tracks, 86 human footprints, 7 cat prints, and other fossil remains - all in Cretaceous limestone. Excavations were professionally documented along the Paluxy River and various other international locations.
Among museums this entity makes a unique contribution, demonstrating that man and dinosaur lived contemporaneously.Q: Are dinosaurs found in the Bible?
A: Yes
For a biblical study on dinosaurs in the Old Testament, I would definitely recommend using the Authorized Version (AV)/King James Version (KJV) of the Scriptures which were translated into English from the Masoretic text in 1611 [230 years before the word "dinosaur" was available!]. Using a Strong's Concordance, you will find the Hebrew word "tannin" is used 25 times, and is translated as 'dragon(s),''serpent(s),' 'monster(s)' [and, in the more modern versions, improperly as 'jackal(s)']. The key to remember is to look for Hebrew Lexicon #8577.
CREATION WEEK (~4000 B.C.)
DAY 5--[Gen.1:20-21]--Creation of marine monsters (Hebrew "tannin," includes large marine 'mammals' and 'reptiles') and winged/flying creatures (Hebrew "o(w)ph," includes all feathered and non-feathered flyers--even pterosaurs, the flying reptiles!)
DAY 6--[Gen.1:24-25]--Making of dinosaurs and other land creatures, divided among the cattle (Hebrew "behemah," includes all quadrupedal, hoofed/blunt-toed ungulates), beasts of the earth (bipedal/quadrupedal, talon-toed), and creeping things (quadrupedal/multi-legged ground crawlers).
FLOOD YEAR (~2350 B.C.)
[Gen.6:17,19-20; 7:14-15; 9:17,19]--Juvenile representatives of every terrestrial, air-breathing kind (not species), including dinosaurs and pterosaurs, were directed by God to the Ark.
Those outside the Ark would be left to be scavenged by marine predators or be buried and fossilized quickly.
POST-FLOOD PERIOD
MARINE MONSTERS--[Leviathan (Job 3:8-'mourning'; 41:1-34/Ps.74:14;104:26/ Isa.27:1); see also Lam.4:3 & Amos 9:3].
PTEROSAURS--[esp. the bioluminescent flying reptiles (Isa.14:29 & 30:6)].
DINOSAURS--[see Strong's Concordance(KJV) under "dragon(s);" also Exod. 7:9-10 (#8577, not #5175)].
The best dinosaur passage in the Bible is Job 40:15-24 where God speaks to Job concerning BEHEMOTH ["most excellent beasts"--intensive plural of
Day 6 'cattle' ("behemah")], a huge sauropod dinosaur (especially notice verses 17 &19 !!!). Don't forget to ckeck our website for dinosaur publications under "Resources" and...happy dinosaur hunting!
