eat slowly and chew your food. my mum is a disgusting burper, she has no control, cause she eats like food is going out of fashion, also try drinking little sips of water. salads and hot food is also a bad combination, try just eating a cold or hot meal, not both combined

Burping is just a mechanism to get rid of trapped air in your stomach, its nothing really to be ashamed of. Just make sure you figure a way to burp in a quiet manner.
In order to 'reduce' the amount of burping you might have to check what you eat. Stay away from carbonated/fizzy drinks, also try and eat slowly lest you gulp in air with your food.

If you don't burp the gas will still have to escape, which is more socially acceptable a polite little burp or a room clearing f...?
I think you know.
Incidentally do you know why people fart on the tube I always go red and everyone thinks it is me but it isn't. I too am a burper!!!

Eat slower and smaller bites.

Some burping is caused by gulping down air with your food.

Some foods do cause a lot of gas, radishes, for example.

dont hold it in thats unhealthy
if you drink pop dont drink that anymore
eat slower!!
