this guy told me he loved me and would prove to me that he was not like all other guys - I saw him again after being separated for about 6 months due to military and then when I wouldn't have sex with him immediately he turned on me telling me I was no good, a user and a few other choice words - this after flying me to Germany to see him - promising no pressure and lots of romance - of which there was none

Because guys know that women buy into the term "I love you" without thinking if the statement is actually true. This is why you (and all women) need to make sure they get the stupid romantic ideas out of their head and actually think about the relationship and the person. I'd bet money he told you he loves you after just a few weeks of barely knowing you, and you thought, "Oh, this is so sweet, he fell for me!" without thinking that he's feeding you a line. Is he a jerk for using a strong thing like love to get what he wants? Absolutely, but you could do more to protect yourself from stupid "romantic" ideas too.

some guys will just say what you want to hear, to make you feel more comfortable around them and with how the relationship is going in general as long as its going how they want it to, once it doesn't go the way they can easily change their minds on something because they feel like things should be a certain way and aren't very willing to compromise especially when they think they are going to get the chance to sleep with a girl and it doesn't happen because they know that they can find someone else who will be more accommodating in their requests to have sex....

Sleep with them but turn the table. Strap it on them and Make it so unbelievable, over the top unforgettable, blow their mind phenomenal that they will be in love with you immediately. Then when they're good and hooked, YOU can dump them. Just kidding. About the dumping part. Make the sex so good that even if they don't fall in love with you, you'll be the one in control... not them.

Beleive it or not , this situation worked out for the best. The guy didn't love you and was only interested in getting the "goods".

It sounds like he is having a temper tantrum because you wouldn't have sex with him. Most guys want to have sex with you and don't care about the rest. He's trying to make you cave in and say OK to having sex. Find someone more wonderful then this jerk.

When guys say forever the nasally never mean it.You can't stay with the same guy all your life.And if guys don't get what they want there gonna turn you down.Don't feel that you did the wrong thing.Everyone has a reason for everything.

Not all guys are like this but if ur guy said something like that then he's not worth being in ur life. Maybe he's fustrated too or really in need but doesn't mean he should approach u and be mean to u.
