And what types of books do you check out?

Last summer I went to my local library two or three times a week to change the books I was reading (I was able to read a lot while working, hence the frequently). For some reason, a lot of the books I read were mystery books, I don't know if my library had more mystery fiction than other, or whether I was just attracted to it. By the end of the summer I was reading history books about England.

I moved in November, and am yet, for various personal reasons, to actually go and use the local library.

Only when I want to read a book without buying it. What kind of books? Mystery/Suspense (Mary Higgins Clark variety), Historical fiction, books on various countries, books on the British Royal Familiy and the list could go on as I'm interested in a lot of subjects.

I used to go to the library all of the time checking out as many as 30 books at a time. However, since getting my computer and internet access, I can find plenty to read on line.

The last time I went to the library, I went for early voting last November.

This summer I've been going a lot more than I have for a long time. However, our library does a reading club (one for children, one for teens, and one for adults) and I'm obsessed with winning something (of course I only entered the adult contest). Anyway, I go about two to three times a month and get all kinds of books from fiction, to audiobooks, to crafting books. Right now I have three audiobooks out and a crochetting book.

I go about once a month. Our library is chocked full of great books as well as VHS's and DVD's... to rent for free. When I go, I check out self help books... like cooking, or relationship advice or diet and exercise... it's a lot cheaper then buying the books... and as we all know, not all books are worth having forever.

twice a week, taking 3-4 books every time. Would be too expensive to buy so many books :/ And some old ones cannot be found in book stores now.

I takes 'classics' from my grandma who has a huge library of her own, the other ones - freud, psychoanalysis, lithuanian prose, poetry, german, italian, scandinavian, british etc prose from library

At least once a week. I generally get research books as I am writing a novel. But, I also like books by Dean Koontz, William Johnstone and Patricia Cromwell. I'm also a huge fan of real life ghost stories and haunted places.

At least twice a month. There is no better deal in town than the local library.

Not often. But, then, I'm a school teacher. If I can't find what I want in our library, or on the internet, I'll visit a university library.

I go so much that the librarians all know me by name! Meaning about 1-2 times a week! If I bought EVERY book I have ever read I would be homeless, I was so poor!
