After doing a play my voice was extremely horse. I drank a mix of Orange juice and Cranberry juice before the next show and I had my voice back for a while. I also put honey in tea that seems to do well

You need to heal the vocal chords.

Use essential oils such as lavender to heal the tissues of the throat.
