Heels in school or not? Do you think they look sexy or slutty?

I agree that age and grade can affect this question and are more appropriate for high school and college age girls.

I think heels can be very appropriate for school, depending on the outfit. Heels are always appropriate for business dress and therefore reflect a more dressed up and professional image.

I think the fashion trends for Junior size women is too casual and revealing. When they graduate high school and college, many of them can't even walk appropriately in heels. During last Prom Season I even saw girls wearing flip-flops with their Prom dresses.

Heels do draw attention to the legs, so if you are wearing shorter skirts or shorts, you should stay away from high heels in a casual setting. This is a rule not just for school, but also for summer barbecues and picnics etc. A lower wedge heel or 1 inch heel would be appropriate for shorts or skirts in a casual setting.

If you are wearing a knee length skirt or longer skirt heels become appropriate again, assuming it's not a casual peasant looking skirt that should be played down with a more casual shoe.

When wearing slacks or Jeans, heels are always appropriate. Since many pants come in longer lengths now, heels lift you off the floor enough to keep the material from dragging on the ground and looking dirty or frayed. A simple pair of jeans and a T shirt can be dressed up, simply by wearing a trendy belt and a nice pair of heels. Or a button down dress shirt can be worn with a pair of jeans and heels and the jeans play down the normally dressy look.

All this can be done in a classy way without making a girl look trashy.

You could wear a tiny tank top, a short mini skirt, and flip flops and look sluttier than the girl wearing the T-shirt, jeans, and heels.

It's generally not the heels that make an outfit slutty.....it's the girl and how she projects herself.

Slutty vibes are feeled from the person itself, not the shoes you wear. A slutty person can be wearing mi calf skirt and covered top and flip flops... but if she expels slutty vibe... then... she is slutty...
But if a you're a good girl and want to dress sexy and nice, a pair of heels will draw attention to you... but good comments will you hear... no sluttish at all....
Just take advantage of your great looking legs while you can...

It depends on the clothes to go with it, and it depends on the charactaristics of the female wearing them. They are very sexy, i love them, but also, if you're wearing a tiny skirt, and a midrift showing, with speggeti straps then i mean its gonna look pretty slutty, because the girl is obviously trying to get attention from a guy.. sexual attention, and when a girl purposely tries to do that they can be called a "slut." although it depends on how the girl acts and who she really is inside to make her a slut. To me, should they be allowed in school, yes, but nothing dramatic, because some of those heels, girls could get hurt if they fell lol.. school board people dont like scantily clad women, and i think they would also like to "keep women down" from wearing heels to, just because they can.. okay wow theres my ramble :D peace!

I don't think heels look right in school. But if you definetely want to wear heels, wear them with long pants or skirt till knees. It will make you look pretty classy and grown up.
But the biggest NO - never wear heels and jeans or shirt skirt, it looks pretty slutty in school

Sexy all the way!! I would say to wear them, and take advantage of what it will do to the guys around you. They will get "excited". Love it!!!! I wish that I could wear heels all day long. I work in an office, and I wear a bra, panty, and nylons under my suit. I only get to wear heels when I am alone in my office. I also wear them after work all the time. I love them!!!

Don't listen to these people! Heels are fine for school esp. with jeans or nice pants. Don't wear them with a miny skirt or anything. Girls in my school including me have been wear heels since 8th grade.

heels in school are cool cause I wear them but I am in high school. It depends on how high the heels are and you really can only wear heels based on the reputation that you have(slut=no,good girl=yes****).If you can walk in them, and the outfit you have.

HEELS IN SKOOL GOTTTA GO JUST STICK TO THE UNIFORM YOU HAVE AGES 2 dress up in the weekend and after skool so there is really no point and if u r tall enuf already i say lay off them gal.unless u wanna b 6 ft.its kl if u do but platforms ave no point ave bein in skool.k?
