Have you tried Mary Kay foundations? I would suggest finding an MK beauty consultant in your area - she will help you find a color that matches your skin tone. You could also visit me at www.marykay.com/skeech to get an idea of the different shades available. And remember, you have nothing to lose because there is a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the product.

Mary Kay has an excellent variety of shades for darker complexions. And you can try it before you buy it to make sure it is right for you. To find a consultant go to marykay.com
It cost a little more but it is worth getting the right color the first time.

If you go to your local mall and see if they have Mac counter. My mother has the a problem with matching her foundation around her mouth because that is the most darkest placer on her face. Even I tried it once and it works wonders and it feel like you are not waring anything on your skin.

Have you tried any of the department store brands like clinique, lancome and estee lauder? I know I've seen new colour ranges from them, you might be able to find the right one, plus you can ask them to try it on you right in the store and they will teach you how to put it on and wear it.

Avon has a lot of products for darker complections.
Also is there is someone that has the same complexion that you admire their skin tone and makeup you might try asking them, they will probably be flattered that you asked and give you good info.

bare escentuals...also known as bare minerals....they have stuff that will work, and not make you feel like you've put mud on your face.....i'm white, but i used to use all that liquid matte crap, and once i got bare minerals, i'll NEVER go back to feeling like i'll crack if i smile.
p.s. TO PIRATERACHEL - I've reported your answer as abusive. that is clearly a racist comment and you should be ashamed of yourself! I'm sorry to see that you have a 12 year old child who you are, i am sure, raising to be as narrow minded and ignorant as you are.
p.p.s. to everyone else out there, I am a white woman, and I would like to personally apoligize for that woman's ignorance. Please know that we are not all like that, and i am ashamed for her, even if she isn't for herself.
