I was thinking in booking in October, I would think hurricane season would be the cheapest correct me if Im wrong.

Sept/Oct and April are generally the cheapest but don't expect too much of a break at anywhere nice. Summer is loaded with Europeans, winter with North Americans.

April is never cheap to head to anywhere in Florida.
In April all the snow birds head south and all the hotels raise the rates. June before the kids get out of school has some good rates.
