I agree with chickenhounk911 answer. You should loose a couple of points if your answer is picked as the worse answer.

And how about if they let us make comments to other answers.

Yes that would be cool. But here is the real question, would you lose points if you got picked as the worst? That would be a nice little gamble, and maybe people would actually start trying a bit harder, rather than just posting anything to get a measly 2 points.

Currently, you are allowed to add comments to questions that have already has a best answer picked. Try going into one of your resolved questions. You have an option to add comment if you have something else to say, but the characters are very limited.
I do not think there should be an option to pick worst answer. It would definitely make people want to answer less just in case they get chosen as worst answer. It might prevent people from putting in stupid answers, but there are kids on this site who dont care about the points who will just take advantage of this option. I have had many jealous people send me insulting emails and these kids will probably purposely choose worst answers out of spite and immaturity.
If the people here were more mature and if they took this site seriously, then that would be a great feature to add to Yahoo! Answers, but fortunately, there are more young people using this site than the older folks.
I say fortunately because I like the fact that this site is PG rated.

Maybe chickenhounk11 is on to something.... If yahoo somehow subtracted....ummm lets see.....10 points for anyone with the WORST answer it would make a lot of people who just give any stupid, or rude answer, not pertaining to the question. What can the answers people do about this? I think it would make the answers world a little more interesting. (not to mention weed out the points abusers)

I think that is a great idea, but maybe they want to be politically correct and not put people down for expressing an opinion.
