Not by a long shot. If you want to play games, you're going to want at least an Athlon 64 3700+ processor, if not an Athlon 64x2 or FX processor. You're going to want between 1GB and 2GB of memory and a larger hard drive, at least 160GB, if not 250GB or 300GB. And then there is the case of graphics which you didn't mention and in that area I recommend a Geforce 7600GT.

for the latest games, its not going to work. Not nearly enough memory (need at least 1 gb), the processor is too slow, hard drive too small, and you dont mention the video card. If you are using the built in one to the motherboard its not going to work very well for the latest games.

Firstly the AMD Sempron 2500+ S754 is NOT a 64bit proc...but if the motherboard supports it u can upgrade to a 64 bit proc...most (almost all) games r 32 bit now anyway....or:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GO WITH AMD's SOCKET 939 SEMPRON (COMING OUT SOON)....then u can upgrade later to a dual core need be...! Just make sure the motherboard will support the dual core proc.
