How is the US, which has spent three years proving that it cannot successfully occupy Iraq, a small country of only 25 million people, going to control India, China, Russia, Europe, Africa and South America?

It's not going to happen.

What it does mean is that the US government in its hubris and delusion is going to continue starting wars and attacking other countries until a coalition of greater forces smashes us. Even among our European allies we are already perceived as the greatest threat to world peace and stability.

Ahh wait a mintue The U.S. is never going to control the world I hate to burst your bubble. This view is wrong and is why America can not beat Iraq the war was stupid it should have never happened. This is how I feel Yes America is powerful it does not make it right to terroize other countries because you have more power. This country was built on freedom so I think the govt. should rethink thier actions before it costs the citizens thier rigfht to abode.

Okay, I'll start with your first question. Why can't we win the war ? It took about three days to win the war in Iraq. Remember a war is a conflict between two or more organized uniformed armies. Saddam's army is gone, kaput, finished. What we have now is groups of armed civilians fighting each other, and occasionally killing an American.
Occupying Iraq ? America never had any intention of occupying Iraq. As for occupying all of those other countries that you mentioned, that's so far fetched that it doesn't deserve a comment . What ever gave you the idea that we would even consider occupying the world. That was Hitler's idea. You must be confused. George is not Adolph.

We can win this war. If we brake the rule and bomb everything in sight then it will be a lot faster but wrong. We made so much successes in Iraq than REPORTED. We need to understand that want Iraq is doing is trying to form a working government during war building a plane that is already in the air. It seems that we are not wining but also we are not losing. Besides the violence people are going to work, going to school and even playing outside. We may be hurting but the enemy is also hurting. They had suffered more loses than we have. I won't care less about want Europe and what the whole world thinks about us. "GREATEST THREAT". if we were such a great threat then why everyone is still coming over here and doing business with us? Should there be sanctions on us already? and want about the Islamic terrorist around the world? are their an even bigger threat? Did they just bombed a couple of trains in India? and who said that we was going to control most of the world, that's impossible in this day and age. We don't need to control the world. too much questions for you? And about the war..... be patient.

The thing is, we can win. And we are going to, unless we give in to the many democrats and liberals who want to pull out and give up. The US actually has the strongest military, or so I've read. In terms of technology and numbers.

And, I dont think it's true one bit that our European allies think of us as a threat to peace. How is saving people from a dictatorship and setting up a democracy - letting the people actually vote for their leader, a threat to world peace. It's only because we're not letting things go as they are, that maybe some other dictators are a bit worried.

Are we sure that the U.S.wants to win the war in Iraq? By playing at war over there they are maintaining a military presence in the garden of oil. If another mid east county rears it.s ugly head against the presence, then the U.S. has a force already on site.

If anyone thinks that this is about democracy, then you better read up on history when the U.S, participated in the removal of , and subsequent assassination of, Salvatore Allende , a democratucally elected president of Chile (1970's) and replaced him with the dictator Pinochet

It's an INVASION, not a war. You can't see two armies fighting against each other. It's more like GI's slaughtering an alien nation.

You Americans watch too much TV and play way too many video games. Hence the idiotic behaviour you and your rulers display wherever you set foot.

Why do so many people insist an answering their own questions? This is a forum for the answering of factual questions, not spouting political opinions.

Because that is an invasion not a war and any nation will not accept that and fight to have freedom so US cannot have won this war .
