If you have an interest in wine it is worth visiting. Check their website for discounts, and pop in to the entrance as there are sometimes discounts on leaflets there.

I went shortly after it first opened and have been back several times since, last time was November when I took a visiting American friend who is interested in wine.

It is a lot smaller now than it used to be, and basically you walk through rooms with exhibitions representing various wine areas. You get so many tasting tokens which you can exchange at various tasting stations for wines.

Highlights for me are the Itialn hall where you sit on a Vespa scooter and through a movie projected on its windscreen it appears you are scottingthrough Italian vineyards and hilltowns, and don't miss a film showing in the first exhibition showing modern day Georgians making wine simply in the age old manner -- tells you all you need to know about winemaking.

Attached is the only Majestic store that sells single bottles, and they additionally stock wines at tasting stations. Worth checking that display in Majestic to see which are the most expensive wines ;)

You can also pay extra to taste a range of Absinthes. There are changing displays and events.
