Do you remember a tv show from late 70's early 80's.?

It was an american tv show set either in or around a junkyard and a part of the opening theme commentary was 'they built a rocket ship and they went to the moon'.
I remember watching it but have no idea what it was, can anyone help...

I vaguely remember it...it was called "Salvage 1".
