Nike makes terrible long distance shoes. Try Mizuno or New Balance. if it's on trails, i'd say go with New Balance. Stay away from Reebok, Nike, and Asics for long distance running. Asics have awesome middle distance shoes. Go to a specialty store for runners. they won't recommend Nike, i can garantee that. I've never been shown nikes at runner stores stocked to the ceiling with nike shoes (maybe because they don't sell). Nike is however well known for their race shoes and middle and short distance trainers.

Running magazine reports annually about shoes and who they are made for. You should really go to a real running store where the people are trained to evaluate your running not a store in the mall or a chain. They should evaluate you walking and how your last shoe wore out to accurately recommend a shoe based on your foot and your running habits

I found some really nice new balance ones. but they are wearing out and I cant find them anymore. They were really comfortable and wide and I don't want another shoe. They were like absorb 701s, r something like that.

Go to a sporting good store. There are shoes for whatever activity you are into and they have experts.
