For everyone- anyone- who saw and answered my last question about me being black and all, I have more to say.

First, I am not black. And I wouldn't be ashamed if I were, mind you! I think it's sad that people are referring to my Avatar and just stating out that I'm of black ethnicity. Second, I was mostly talking about Americans stereotyping because they USUALLY happen to do it the most. It's a fact, not stereotyping. I have experience, for Pete's sake! I lived in the US for seven years!! They are pros at stereotyping. Let me repeat: this is a fact for MOST Americans- I'm not labelling myself. And I'm saying I never stereotype. It's just that, in this case, I really don't think I am! Thanks again for reading and please only answer if you have a REAL answer (not "ZZZzzZZzz" like some other person)!

I understand what your saying, and you're absolutely right that Americans stereotype...shoot, we stereotype our ownselves, so that should tell you something right there!

Anyway, I understand how you feel about people stereotyping you, you're only getting a taste of what African Americans go through on a daily basis...even in cyberspace we get no respect! And people don't even see you nor have they talked to you to get to know you...that's a shame! But, you just have to understand that people can be so ignorant, and more times than not, the one race that they stereotype the most, is the race that's flowing through their veins...they just don't know it!

Keep doing what you do girl! Just don't end up hating/disliking your skin color, because of these ignorant freaks...lol.

I understand your frustration. Stereotyping is sometimes humorous, though. I am of Irish lineage and remember being refered to as the "drunken mick kid" when I was about 7 or 8. If we'd just toughen up our skins and learn to relax, we could actually have a little fun with our difference. Not to mention the knowledge we could attain by learn from the different cultures.

Well, I am American, and of Asian ethnicity, hence my avatar looking Asian. If you had no avatar or one like a pic of an animal or whatever, I would not have even thought about your ethnicity. It is your fault that people assumed you were black.

You are right, Americans do stereotype. I am of black/Hispanic/Japanese race and people categorize me as African American all the time. But tell you the truth, America has already labeled me as BLACK....lol White people always ask me about black culture and stuff. I am proud of my African American heritage....but sometimes Americans forget that we all are MIXED....The thing is that black people can tell that I am biracial but white people just see me as "*****..." I find it funny...lol!! Sometimes... I just mark African American on standardized test....lol there needs to be more bubbles to mark for the race category.....
