According to an article on WebMD, by week 13 "Your baby's heartbeat may now be audible through an instrument called a Doppler."
According to an article in Mothering Magazine, "you may feel the first fetal movements and will be able to detect the baby’s heartbeat" in the fifth month.
According to the March of Dimes, "You can hear your baby's heartbeat for the first time (10 to 12 weeks) using a special instrument called a 'doptone.'"

The doctor told me last week that I should be able to hear the baby's heart beat around week 10. But I will hear mine sooner because I have to have an ultrasound done next week.

I heard my first daughter's at 12 weeks. I probably would have heard it sooner if I knew I was pregnant. With my second daughter, I heard it at 8 weeks. The first time I heard their heartbeats was the same days I found out I was pregnant.

I was 2 months pregnant when I had my first doc appointment and then I heard the heartbeat.

It varries but anywhere from 10 weeks to 13 weeks

They were able to hear my son's at 8 weeks. But that was with the ultrasound. I am not sure when they can hear it with the fetal heart monitor.

I heard mine at 16 weeks...I carry a little extra weight on my abdomen...some can hear it as early as 9-10 weeks.

I heard both my kids' heart beats with a stethoscope when they were only 7 weeks

When I heard my babies heart beat i was 11 weeks pregnant. It was so amazing
