To learn what a spaceman Bill Lee was, try out his book, The Little Red (Sox) Book, sayings of Chairman Lee. The cover photo is him in 2003 when the book came out in a Mao hat with a little red star, gray beard down to his waste and that same goofy look on his face. The book is the Spaceman's history of the Boston Red Sox, for example, how he struck out Fred Stanley (Bucky F. Dent did not play that day) to win the one game playoff against the Yankees in 1978. How the Red Sox went on to beat the Dodgers in the World Series. Well, you get the picture. And he sold it as non-fiction.
