The lowly Detroit Tigers have the best record in the league.

It has to be the Detroit Tigers and their amazing turnaround. Think about it: they lost 119 games in 2003 and are on track to win at least that many this year.

It is a pleasant diversion from the steroids scandal and the endless bickering between partisans of the Red Sox and the Steinbrenners (a.k.a. Yankees), not to mention the annual commiseration over the Cubs.

I think there are a few so Im just gonna list them all.
-the detroit tigers having such a great year
-the braves likely not to win the division for the first time in 14 years
-the absolute garbage baseball the Cubs are playing
-the comebacks of Jim Thome and Nomar Garciaparra
-the managing job of Joe Girardi in florida after they had a fire sale in the off season

I would have to say the Detroit Tigers. The pitching has exploded and the offense is there also. And, the manager is making an awesome impression on the players. It's going to be fun to watch them go up against the Sox for the division.

Without a doubt it's the resurgence of the Detroit Tigers. Considering how bad they'd been recently who would have guessed they'd be this good? And not just semi-good, but leading the tough AL Central! Leyland has done a remarkable job.

Bonds going to be indicted by a Grand Jury and hopefully suspended indefinitely by baseball.

The Detroit Tigers best record in the major leagues. I figured Jim Leyland could show them how to win consistently but really didn't expect this! I love it!!!!

Barry Bonds.

I don't want it to be...but it is...passing Ruth...and all the legal trouble...Bonds...is the biggest baseball story this year, no question.
