Blueberry plant help?

I planted my first blueberry plant this year,so i think its the first year the plant beared fruit,any tips or things i should know about picking the blueberries(when) and do i prune any of the plant..(when)anything??well help thanks

put you a net over it. I have 3 and the birds always get it. Prune in the winter. Like 3 in. back.
