I know that this question depends on the individual and how much they are into what they do but I'm looking for a person to give me their experience, their notice of individuals around them in this profession who have worked and now exited this field, and those who have heard horror stories of people who left this profession in a heart beat. I'm curious.

I want to know on average how long do most people work as a paralegal before they exit the profession. I know some who have worked all their life and those that were there for 20 years or so but let's go with the bigger bulk of statistics and look at the average and not the rare few who still stay on.

Ok. please give me only sensible answers and no wise guy antics.

Thank You

my cousin is a paralegal and going to school to be a lawyer, she has been doing it a few years. i honestly think this is just like any other profession, if you feel you have done all you can do then you move on. it's just part of the work cycle. i think this depends on someone's determination, tolerance and the place they work.
it really does just depend
