In order for a child to learn a language, it is important that the language is spoken in the home. Libraries, schools, and even the internet have great resources for learning a second language. I recommend that you contact the school for referrals to tutors or programs in your area.

Use a lot of patience. Show him items and say them in his own language and then again in English. Have him repeat them. Practice daily and make it fun. Give him praise and positive reinforcement for every new word he learns. Have him play with English speaking children and also buy some kids songs in english on cd's.

Just talk to him in English. After 2 months he'll speak better than the Queen of England.

If he is very very young simply talk to him in English... have him watch a lot of shows like Sesame Street, etc.

show him pictures and say their names in English. teach him a lot of words by this way. after that say some sentences that are positive and its simple. something like: "this is an apple" and explain each of the words in the sentences for example "is" is a verb, apple is a name. and say their meanings in his own language. after that negative sentences. and teach him the modal verbs and their usages. say all the meanings by showing him pictures or in his own language. i hope it works!!!

And you must invest in visual and audial materials,like English songs,posters,flashcards,colourful picture books and you can use puppets

teach him from basic,like a,b,c,d.then spellings then some stories like that...go on.....o.k.........
