Hopefully you have a second hard drive that's "d' and it's not your Cd-Rom drive you're talking about:
you said "everyhting that I put..." do you mean files in general or programs? when you install a program, it "wants" to go to "c", instead of allowing it to install you'll need to do a custom install, choose the "d" drive...I'm sure your "My Documents" is on "c" as well, that can be moved to "d" by right clicking on the shortcut (in Windows XP) there's an option to move the file...

open windows explorer. . select the files from C, then Move to Drive D..
might want to make folders in Drive D. . & put files in accordingly.

C drive is your hard drive,d drive is your cd-rom.To gain more memory you will have to remove un used programs and files or get another hard drive installed or a memory card installed.

whenever u download anything by default it takes c drive .Change the path.
programmes installed on c: cannot be changed now, but copy your created folder from c drive to d drive and paste it there.

open windows explorer and highlight the directory or files that you'd like to move to disk d then drag it to drive d:. next time you save a file just save it to d: by looking at the "save in" directory from there you could select drive and/or directory

Click "My Computer" and then click your C: drive. Once you have your C: drive open, hold ctrl down and click (they will highlight) the files/folders you want to move, then click edit and copy (or hit CTRL+C). Now open your D: drive and edit - paste (or hit ctrl V).

if you mean files just cut and paste one to the other
if you are trying to change the windows directory to have you x86
files
windows\system dir
you need to do a few other steps
