first go over all cracks or seams with a fiber roofing cement, which is basically a thicker type of sealer,if cracks are present and noticable put down a small amount of roof cement then spread a piece of roof gauze over it then apply more roof cement let all seems and cracks dry ,then coat with an aluminum and fiber roof coating. aluminum and fiber roof coating costs between 39 and 60 dollars a 5 gallon bucket, roof mesh/gauze is about 6 dollars for 3in. by 12ft., good luck.
