News reports say that J K Rowling might kill off harry and his friends in her last book...what are your thoughts about this...

I just read a report today that two main characters are going to die.
Harry Potter being one of them, I have to assume that it is Voldemort as the other.
personally ( and I love the books) I am ok with it.
You can't have one without the other, you cant have light without darkness for example.
the only true way to end the series would be the death of both.
There are too many ties between Voldemort and Harry to have only one die, the saga would never end.
Harry can never achieve happiness as long as he is alive, for fear of a return of Voldemort, so they both have to die.
Strictly my opinion.

Damn people talk about some serious story ruiners...I'm only on the 4th book but I'm deleting the statements from memory right now. I don't believe JK has told anything of the sort just yet. Also it wouldn't surprise me if Harry was killed because he's been marked for death since the 3rd book...Professor McGonagall hinted around to it in the Hogsmeade scene before the entrance to the pub...but that is the movie not the book.

I would be surprised if Harry, Ron, and Hermione were killed. I'm more inclined to believe that one of the trinity is to die than all three. It's hard to tell with JK Rowling though.

to be honest, it's just a book, she is done with the series and this is one way no one can try to get the rights to write the book. she can't keep him alive forever. but i do love the books (the movies not so much) and i think if the timing is right to kill Harry then do it. better to go out with a bang than a fizzle

I am quite happy to hear that information. I am tired of seeing Harry and his friends get out of every situation. The series needs a turn otherwise the series is not worth reading any more.

I think that sucks because I like Harry Potter. Do you know when the next on comes out? I don't think she should kill them off to end it she should end it another way..

I think it's not fair that J.K.Rowling is going to kill harry & his friends in his last part.I don't know what made him think that he should kill main characters in this film.The conclusion is that I didn't like Rowling's decision.

I realize that it may happen. I think it would suck but JK has not let me down yet. (aside from book 6) My hopes is that she will end it with a bang, no matter who dies. I still haven't gotten over Sirisu and Dumbledore.

Harry and the whole is stupid because parents let their children still act out movies. When will they ever learn?

i hope not i love those books and i want them to live on so the series will continue to grow.plus i almost cried when dumbledore died
i wished i could go into the book and kill snape
