That is all a matter of opinion. People with lots of piercings will tell you that you can never have enough. People that don't like alot of piercing will call you a freak if you have anything pierced except your ears. Do what is right for you. If you don't like the piercings then you can take them out.

When you run out of space to put in a piercing, that is too many.

It all depends on where they are. I have my tongue, nose, industrial, bellybutton, and lower-right lip pierced (side-labret). That sounds like a lot, but it doesnt look it. I think if you have like, 5 in each ear, 3 lip rings, both nostrils, etc. thats a little much.
It all depends on if it looks good on the person too! :)

its all up to you. I personally think if your whole face is pierced is a no no. I have 5 on my ear and my eye brow pierced. Do what you feel is enough.

When you start to look like a freak, that is too many. Have people been telling you you look like a freak? Seriously, I would say it is a personal choice...if you can live with it, then have at it.

5 is the limit ** On both ears so in all it's 10 holes** Four is a little bit over the top but...
