Any ideas, heard it at a bar last night, I am pretty sure it was not dokken, but kind of hard driving sound, not the Pink Floyd song either. Any ideas.

Danzig!!! This is a great song. Glenn Danzig was also a member of The Misfits. That's an awesome band too.

Genesis put out a song in the 80s called "Mama". Fits your description and it's about 6 minutes long.

I think u might be referring to danzig's "mother" from the danzig 3 album released in 1988. dunno though.
