My picks: Evansville, IN, Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, California, Florida, and tops is...Kentucky (yes, it's that awful, not "that friendly", Louisville is worst, and the women have snotty attitudes.)

Texas and Alabama are the friendliest, in that order, just as a side note.

You crack me up! They have professionals that deal with anti-social disorders. Your last few questions have all been about who isn't nice to little chandler... Have you ever considered that the problem may lie with you perception of different cultures... I run into mean rude people every day... It has nothing to do with where they are from!

oh man! am i glad i saw this topic. I am 38 and have not only lived all over the USA but have travelled to many countries around the world. I am ashamed to say that the rudest, snobbiest people I have ever come into contact with are in my own country. I moved to North Idaho because it was so pretty, but that is where the beauty stops! The shitty, snobby, crappy attitude of the residents there made me say f&%K this, and I sold my house and moved back down south. These people made me embarrased to be caucasian. I have been treated better by most black people down south!. The friendliest places I've been in the USA are TN, OK, AL and AR. Oh, the U.S. border guards are jerks, but the Canadian side is always pleasant!

In SUVs.

I have lived a lot of places and while it is all fun and cute to generalize the people in those places, but everywhere has everytype. Only one thing remains consistent. SUV drivers are the most selfish people on the planet. You don't even need to see them in or near their car. You can pick out an SUV driver a mile away, and I have yet to be wrong.....

I think the wealthier the area, the snottier the people.

Folks in Kentucky may have bad attitudes, but they need to remember that it's really hard to judge others while loading your rifle with buckshot on the unpainted deck you've just attached to your trailer with bailin' wire and duct tape. Y'all...

texans are the worst in my experience!!we just moved here from california-and all the "native"texans are soooooo rude, they treat people from out of state like dirt beneath there feet-especially if youve just moved from california!!!

i wouldnt say that california would be on my top list-having lived there for 8 years i think that most people arent rude, they are just in a hurry and tend to keep to themselves!!!

People are not very friendly in Las Vegas.... they all hide in their homes and won't say hello to their neighbors..... I think it's just a "suspicious" place.
