That would be so great, especially for people with kids. Maybe the world would be a better place, because people would actually take time to be parents and produce less heathens. Less crime, more family time, and better future. The perfect solution.

About 1 week a month, my husband works 4 10 hour days. It is great. We get more family time with a three day weekend. It also leaves one Friday a month for bill paying. That way we aren't rushing around before he has to go to work. I love 'em!!

if i could work 24hrs straight i would, i hate the lead up times to working i spend hours before i start working accomplishing nothing because I'm dreading work, and just before i couldn't go to my friends farm for a couple days because I've got 5 4 hrs shifts i hate it, i'd also like places to stay open longer i always want to go to the bank at 5pm or the super market at 12. some poeple just want to do things at differant time than other poeple.

In my country, we have already started to work only 4 days but 12 hours per day. Seem OK for me and my family.

I think that there can be many benefits. There would be a greater efficient in work. In general a more energized and enthuastic workforce in any business, corporation, or organization would benefit from this 4 day schedule. How would we implement this though?

I think four 10 hour days would be much better that five 8 hour days

My mom did that for years, but she had to work 10 hour days. It was a good schedule.

I would rather have shorter work days. There are many times that businesses slow down after 2pm.

But you would have to be paid more (and companies won't do that) and statistics show you spend more on weekends so I dont' think it would be.
