Depends on what you think the Matrix is actually a symbol for. It is a multi-level film.

However, I do think a lot of people in the world are living on auto-pilot. " Millions of people just living out their lives " as Morpheus puts it. We need to open up our minds and question things a lot more. We need to think a lot more. We need to use our imaginations a lot more. We need to discern a lot more.

Instead, we just accept the Matrix world as the norm: trash culture, popular media, negativity beliefs, pessimism, cynicism, judgementalness, narrow-mindedness, give-em-what-the-want things.

Let's open up our minds and open up our worlds.
