It's so annoying when some Americans say ''ya'll'' in every sentence. Who agrees with me?

By the way, I'm an Australian.

I TOTALLY agree!! Im American and it gets on my nerves too. The other thing I hate is when people say "Ya know what Im sayin?" between every sentence. Its so retarted!! And BTW, I have a question for you. In America, what you call a biscuit, we call a cookie, so what is a cookie in Australia?

It's the fact that they are so loud that annoys me the most! No matter where I travel to, I always hear (over the accumulated noise of everything else) an American sprouting some egotistical, verbal deluge to prove they are more intelligent/indispensable/glamorous than everyone else around them!

Don't get me wrong, some American accents are sexy! But most of the ones I have heard - aren't! I don't think the Aussie accent is that much better. By the way, I am Australian too, but my accent is greatly diminished by the many countries I have lived in - but I can still tell an Australian a mile off! (and I still come out with a strong Aussie accent if I am talking to Australians)

I think it depends on where you grow up. The USA is a large country, just like Australia and the dialect and accent differentiates depending on where you come from (same as in Australia).

You have to get it right, it's southerners that say it. They don't say it in every sentence. Ya'll is a word with a meaning. It is a plural for of the word you. It's not proper but it has a definite meaning and is only used when it fits.

No thats southern people, but even they don't say ya'll in every sentence, you must have been talking to just a annoying group of people or a person, that does that.

It doesnt bother me. Probably because i am one of the Americans who can use yall about five times in one sentence. By the way I love Australians.

as a fellow Australian , I agree 100 % with you.

However I think its just each countries words, and expressions that really get annoying, I was chatting to someone from the other side of the world, and called him ' mate ' and he got real offensive of that.
So to us, ' ya'all ' is annoying , but to an American , ' Mate ' is probably annoying

Sometimes people pick up little sayings from right here, ya know,ya'll and go with it just to part of the click. It's fun and besides that, I love ya'll's avatar. It reminds me of one I seen recently............
