You cannot 'look' at people and determine their lonliness or not. The depth of someone lonliness can be so ingrained that it might not show. I do notice the smiles or non-smiles on peoples faces. That can usually determine if someone is having a good or thoughtful day. Unfortunately, there are many lonely people in the world.

Why look at the lonely when you can look at the happy. It will always make you lonely when looking at the lonely.

It's very hard to be lonely. I sometimes wonder what is on their mind. I wish I could help people and let them know that there are people who understand and are willing to listen.
