Never, actually. Real food is tastier and more nutritious than so-called "baby foods". I just waited until my babies were ready for solids, then gave them *food* instead of mush...and gave them a cup of water when they were about 18 months old. No bottles, no "baby juice".

I didn't start giving my boys juice until they were a year old, and even then, it was only a glass of OJ in the morning with breakfast. Orange juice is very high in fiber, potassium and vitamin C. Other juices offer very little. Most of them contain vitamin c, but it's added by the manufacturer...it doesn't occur naturally.

Juice really isn't good for kids...it's nothing more than sugar water. Best to just give them water and milk (or water and formula, if they're younger) until they're old enough to handle OJ.

Usually around 5 to 6 months is good.... before that may be too young. Oh and it can only be certain juices. Like a juicy juice, and it really has to be watered down. But it can't be all juices, and def. not all the time either!

We have a 1 year old, we asked our doctor ther same question.
Our response was only breast milk, formula and water for the first year. Juice CAN be given after one year, but why?
There is no need for juice at that age, it actually can do more damage than good to your baby's teeth.
keep up with homogonized milk and water, put the juice away for awhile.

Only after 6 months. Had been reading that the main advantage of introducing these foods later is that it reduces chances of an "allergies" the child may develop

I gave all three of my children juice when they were about 2 months old. I started giving only 2oz of the watered down juice then as they tolerated it, i gave them more.
