It depends on the situation. Maybe you can change things. Trust me running away is not always the best answer to questions or problems. when you come back the problems are still there. Maybe you could go stay with a friend or family member for a week or more. Get some time away from you family and give yourself time to think about the situation. It also depends on how old you are. There are a lot of risks with running away. You never know what could happen. There are a lot of freaks out there these days. I would take a lot of time to think about this. Maybe try talking to your family about the way you feel. If you don't think they will listen or they will start to fight with you then try writing them letters. The best of luck to you.

You can always call Children's Services and tell them that you're living in an unsafe environment.
If you run away, you'll either end up raped, killed, or homeless and living on the streets. You don't want that for yourself, do you?
And if you run away and get caught, you can go to Juvenile Detention and be labeled as "unruly." You don't want to be there either. Some of those kids have major problems, and could be worse than living with your sisters.

Is there another adult you can go to? Perhaps a friend's parents or a teacher at school? Don't run away...problems will follow you anywhere you go in life. You have to confront them head-on. If your situation is as bad as you say, please go seek out one of these adults...I'm quite sure none of your friends' parents would turn you away, or a school official, or even a clergyperson. Get off the computer and go get their help now. You'll be glad you did! Good luck!

where are u gonna run to? i left home when i was 16 with no where to go, and had to learn some devastating things on the streets.....and dont think that your "friends" will help, because maybe they will for a little while, but then what?it gets old, and everyone has to look out for their own best interest. the world can be a very lonely, scary place...

If your sisters truly tried to kill you, the police would have arrested them and child protective services would have removed you from the home to protect you.
I would suggest you get counseling. Speak with your family doctor for a referral. Also, is there another family member (Aunt, Grandparent, etc) or trusted adult (priest, rabbi, teacher, etc) you can talk to and get help from?

Get the department of children and families involved. They will give you a safe place to live until the case is resolved. Don't continue to become a victim. Be safe!

Go ahead I don't blame you for looking for a better future. Sometimes family has a very NEGATIVE influence in our lives and it's the most difficult step to make but your sanity is more important and if you are strong enough to make that desicion the you are on the right track to take responsibility for yourself (Hope you are not a minor).
Pray, Meditate, take care of yourself and never ever look back. "Mistakes" are for growing, not for regreting.

Running away will just create new problems for you.
Have you talked to your parents about your sisters? If you have and they haven't done anything to help, maybe it's time to get social services involved. You also get involved in the church and find someone to confide in.

Unfortunately, school guidance counselors are practically useless. You should contact your state's Social/Human Services agency. You can find their number by searching on your state government's website. Find that through google. Call them up, they will put you in touch with someone who can effectively give you advice on what can be done. DEFINITELY call for help on this one!!!
