Because of you and the media blaming our soldiers and government for everything these things happen. You want examples? You strongly are against racial profiling, you are strongly against helping countries overseas, you are strongly against pre emptive strikes, you believe in this imaginary world where we a look the same, talk the same, and act the same. If you do not support our troops and our country than you are against it. Now here is your plane ticket to Afghanistan.

Once again, and I get tired of saying this, Liberals do NOT support terrorism. We support the troops, not the reasons for war. I love that "love it or leave it" argument...it's so easy to throw away. As far as the "blaming our soldiers and government," we don't blame the soldiers. They are doing what the government has told them to do...they have to do it. Yes we blame the administration, they are the ones who decide what we do...them and Congress...but we do not blame the troops. We are not troop haters. I know that will be hard for your FOX News-warped mind to comprehend.
Also, I'm assuming when you say "blame the troops," you are talking about the alleged raping and killing of innocent Iraqis. We haven't BLAMED them per se...however we feel that there needs to be an investigation into these accusations. So when you defend the soldiers who have (allegedly) commited these atrocities, what happens if we find out the allegations were true? YOU are supporting their disgusting acts, not Liberals. We haven't branded them as criminals yet...that is a Conservative myth. It all falls in line with what the right wants you to think of the left...all a part of their plan.
And what is so wrong with being against racial profiling? Do you want someone to prejudge you by your race? Do you want someone to pass you up on a job or a loan because you are white or black? What if you were arab? Do you think it would be okay if someone branded you as a terrorist even if you have lived here your whole life and have never even had any contact with anyone from the middle east? That is a very ignorant viewpoint to argue against. It only makes you look like a jerk.
Liberals are not against helping countries overseas. We just don't think invading and overthrowing their government was the right way to do so. And no, we understand what world we live in. In fact, we have embraced the fact that we are all different, that's one of the points of having a LIBERAL mind. It's open to new things. Even though we are all different, we are all one unit fighting for the greater good of this country and all mankind. I believe it was a Conservative president that wanted this war in the beginning. (And don't throw the "Democrats voted to go to war, too" defense at me...the intelligence the Congress was given was proven to be faulty, so that won't work.) According to you, racial profiling is good, violence is good, and segregation is good. You sound like an old-school pre-1970's Southern Democrat. Our party has moved away from that, I suggest you do the same.

It's beyond time that people stop blaming each other. Being liberal does not mean a person does not support the troops or blame the troops. You really like to generalize, don't you?
It's EVERYONE'S RIGHT to criticize the government or commend them at times.
I criticize this government because our inept President put our soldiers in harm's way, without finding out for sure if Iraq did have weapons of mass destruction. Well, surprise, months later it came out that they didn't have them.
Iraq is not the country who OK'd the mass death in the World Trade Center.
By the way, why don't you join the military and go to Afghanistan?

Actually that sounds a bit like a conservative. One no liberal supports terrorism. We have a reason to blame the goverment and we do. The soldiers are never blame. Liberals want them brought home where they aren't in danger of getting killed by a roadside bomb set up by some maniac. Racial profiling is wrong. Liberals support helping other countries by not bombing the crap out of them. Pre emptive strikes are wrong. And if you are really that thick headed you're theo ne who needs a plane ticket to Afghanistan and hopefully some one will put you out of your misery.

As if "us liberals" have any influence on this War on Terrorism™. I think that your buddy GW Bush can't pass the blame for the way his foreign policy has made the world a worse and more dangerous place.

I admire that you actually served in the military, unlike GW Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney.

Actually, thanks for underscoring what liberals like myself have been saying all along: Invading Iraq will spread terrorism, not stop it.

Three years in Iraq and more bombs are going off there and other places. Did we crush terrorism? NO. Is it spreading? Definitely.

Bush blew it by not going after Osama, by letting him live for years after 9/11, so the rest of the terrorists could learn from him and continue to spread and multiply.

This is Bush's fault, so take your blame off Liberals who had no say in his priorities.

And you've served our country how?

You're nothing but a spurting mouth who wouldn't know a free country if it bit you in the a$s.

So go screw yourself, get a brain, the come back and actually debate instead of tossing off generalizations like so much political masturbation.

They'll proudly support terror even after they are forced to get on their knees and bow toward Mecca.

How many ways can the liberal wave a white flag?
