i am afraid that this is not a good venture for you to delve into. i suggest setting up a tutoring service find 3or 4 lonely Geeky smart kids and ask them if they want to earn some extra cash. sure they do it is college. so make flyer's and post them all over even place some with the academic advisers. and then watch the clientele roll in.charge 20/hour and pay your tutors 10 you get the other ten for the marketing and scheduling(use excel to keep track of appointments and payroll. ( you should have a buy 5 hours get one free card) this will work there are alot of dumb rich kids and the want to pass so supply the demand

As a guy I would say not. We prided our self on our dorm having that "just partied" look. I have to think that most guys feel this way. We had shared bathrooms though which means we didn't have to worry much about any major cleanliness issues.

The women on our floor seems to take pride in having things "just right". Good decor, nice inflatable furniture or whatever else. I'd say they wouldn't really be interested either. They just stayed up on things as they go.

As far as our apartment though once we left the dorms that is a different story. It would have been awsome to have someone clean our bathrooms and kitchen. We kept the place pretty clean but something about kitchen and bathrooms kept us from having them truly clean.

So my advice would be to offer more of a "off campus" housing cleaning service.

Good luck!

No.

But what I would've paid for was a hair cut. I assume you're asking because you're looking for a way to get a little extra income? I wish when I was in the dorms there was someone on the floor who knew how to cut hair because the nearest barbershop was always busy and it would've been worth it to me to pay $10 or $15 to get a quick fade. Or, that I knew how to cut hair because I think I would've had 20 or so regulars.

Only if I was Paris Hilton. I lived in a dorm for 2 years and thank goodness my roomie and I were both pretty much neat freaks so we kept our place pretty clean. It helps if you live in a women only dorm. =) They are usually so small it doesn't take much to clean at all.

College costs plenty of money, my son never paid to have his room cleaned, he had to clean it himself, do laundry, and it is a small room, so save your money and do it yourself. It isn't hard. Just pick up after yourself every day or every other day or so. College costs too much for those who don't have, and want a great education so they will have. Just be grateful that college is available to you right now. You are so very blessed.

Absolutely not. I paid for college with student loans and work study. I was the person who was cleaning the rooms to make money for college. LOL!

Probably not. Too much risk of private and illict things being uncovered. I don't know what your dorm room was/is like, but I def. had things in there I didn't want strangers to see.

I wouldn't know, the Sigma Chi Fraternity house at Texas A&M had maids, I never had to clean anything. I suggest you rush.
