i don't know of anybody who said this quote. it is similar to a quote from romeo and juliette, a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

i can't remember which of the two lovers said it, but i think it was juliette. she had learned that the young man she was smitten with was from the montague family, which was feuding with her family the capulets... she is upset that a mere thing like a name should stand between her and the person of her desire... she asks "what's in a name?" and makes the rose quote, contemplates asking romeo to renounce his family name, and ponders renouncing her own.

Julliette in Shakespeare's Romeo and Julliette although I believe the actual quote is a rose by any other name would still smell as sweet.

The original is from Shakespeare's version of Romeo and Juliet, but the wording of yours sounds like "The Suessification of Romeo and Juliet."
